World Sight Day (WSD) is an annual day of awareness held on the second Thursday of October, to focus global attention on blindness and vision impairment. World Sight Day 2017 was held on 12 October 2017 this year.
Individuals from various organizations and institutions in Electronics City took part in the blind walk from ELCIA Complex on October 13th. They were blindfolded to experience how it feels to be blind for a day and took the pledge to be sight ambassadors.
Spread awareness about Eye Donation! You were born with the ability to change someone’s life. Don’t waste it. Through Sankara Eye Hospital and Nayana Jyothi Trust, you can become a sight ambassador to support the eye donation movement or you can also help as a volunteer.

Emotional intelligence is a prime concern in all workplaces.
IFIM College, Bengaluru, is initiating a workshop called Management Development Programme on Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace to address this issue.
