Graduate Constituency Election is scheduled for June 2018 and the registration has started.
To all Bangalore Graduates, this is to inform you that an announcement has been made by the Election Commission of Bangalore Graduate Constituency in preparation of electoral roll enrollment for the MLC Election Year- 2018. As per the notification, all the permanent residents of Bangalore Urban, Rural and Ramnagara District, who have graduated on or before November 2014 are eligible to file Form No. 18, to enroll themselves in the Bangalore Graduate Constituency voters list before November 07, 2017. This is a separate voting list from the usual voters’ list used for MLA, BBMP and MP elections.
One of the most important rights that we have in a democratic country is the ‘Right to vote’. Ensuring our voice remains heard in the political arena is very much essential. While our elected officials shape policies that affect us and our progress, we play a vital role to serve for a better future by enrolling & casting our votes.
Our enrollment and participation in voting as a Graduate is very important to help improve our Graduate Community with the betterment of opportunities and more jobs in various fields such as Information Technology, Industries, Agriculture, Horticulture & other allied sectors. Coming together is the beginning and everything we do now would have an effect on our country’s future.
Please provide your support by enrolling under Bangalore graduate constituency. Following copies of the documents need to be submitted along with the filled Form 18 enclosed below.
1) 2 Passport size color photos
2) A Copy of your degree certificate or consolidated marks card
3) Address Proof, any one out of Adhaar Card, Voter ID, Driver’s License, Passport
